Sleepy

Last night I slept like crap...I kept having weird dreams that ended with me waking myself up. Then, as I'm having a really really really good dream which I wouldn't mind spending a few hours in, my alarm goes off.

Go $%^#ing figure.

My "good" dreams (dreams I enjoy) always seem to come just before waking for the day. Disturbing and restless dreams interrupt my sleep patterns before I get my much needed rest, although sometimes they can be entertaining as well. I don't necessarily have Martin Scorsese pounding out oscar winning dreams every night, but they tend to be in technicolor and usually pretty detailed. The only problem I see with my dreams is that I am definitely more gullable when I am sleeping and I can be easily conned into believing some really bizarre physical parameters to make most of my dreams plausable. Even to the point of waking up still feeling the effects of dreams false reality. For example when I was fairly young, I would wake up in the morning still wrapped around the sensation that I could glide on wind currents if I used my body like a sail in a certain way, and would initially want to rush outside to try it out until eventuall somewhere between the morning ritual toiletries and the groggy trudge down the long hallway to the kitchen, gravities logic would reinstill my earthbound nature and by the time the sugar pops were gone I'd be thinking about bicycles with baseball cards in the spokes, ice cream trucks and battling it out in the street with the neighboring kids and a football. Actually I never really thought about ice cream trucks until I heard the Pavlovian melody approaching from a distance.
